Born in Imlil,
built on real experience
Toubkal Trip is run by Aziz Amedra — a certified mountain guide, tour organiser, and riad owner from Imlil village, right at the foot of Jbel Toubkal. Aziz did not build this from an office. He built it from the trails he has been walking since he was a child, and the belief that the best way to show someone Morocco is to take them there yourself.
As CEO and lead guide, Aziz personally organises all Morocco tours — from Toubkal summit treks and Atlas Mountain hikes to cultural trips across the country. When you are not on the mountain, you stay in his own riad in Imlil, a traditional guesthouse that has hosted climbers, trekkers and travellers from every corner of the world.
There are no layers here. No agency chain, no outsourced guides, no call centre taking your booking. You contact Aziz directly, you plan the trip with him, and more often than not, he is the one waiting for you when you arrive.
That is what makes Toubkal Trip different — and it is the only way we have ever known how to work.

We are not an agency selling trips we have never done. Every route we offer is one Aziz and his team have walked themselves — many times.
We actually live here
Our base is Imlil, not Marrakech city centre. Aziz and the team are mountain people first. When you ask about trail conditions or snow on Toubkal this week, you get what was seen yesterday — not what someone read online.
Small groups only
We cap our groups at eight people. Not twelve, not fifteen — eight. It means your guide knows your name, your pace, and your limits. You stop when you want to stop. The experience stays personal from start to finish.
Safety is not a bullet point
Every guide is certified by the Moroccan Ministry of Tourism and trained in first aid and mountain rescue. On Toubkal treks we carry altitude medication and full emergency equipment as standard — not as a paid upgrade.
No middlemen
When you book with us, you book directly with the team taking you out. No resellers, no platforms taking a cut that forces corners to be cut. Your money goes to the guides and the local guesthouses — and it stays in the valley.
We care about the outcome
A traveller who leaves Morocco changed is the best advertisement we have. We do not rush you, we do not upsell you, and we do not put you in situations you are not ready for. We want you to come back — and to send your friends.
Honest reviews, nothing hidden
Every review on our page is real — left by real travellers after their trip. We have never bought a review or deleted a critical one. If something went wrong on a trip, you will find it in the comments alongside our response.
