Tour Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival & Marrakech City Tour
Arrive in Marrakech and transfer to your riad. Begin your exploration of the 'Red City' visiting the Koutoubia Mosque, Bahia Palace, Saadian Tombs, and wandering through the vibrant souks ending at Jemaa el Fna square.
Day 2: Marrakech - High Atlas - Ait Benhaddou - Ouarzazate
Cross the magnificent High Atlas Mountains via the Tizi n'Tichka pass. Explore the ancient Ait Benhaddou Kasbah, and continue to Ouarzazate, the gateway to the Sahara, known for its iconic film studios.
Day 3: Ouarzazate - Todra Gorges - Merzouga Desert
Journey through the Valley of 1000 Kasbahs and the Valley of Roses. Marvel at the dramatic Todra Gorges before arriving in Merzouga, where you'll ride camels into the sunset to reach your luxury desert camp.
Day 4: Sahara Desert 4x4 Exploration
Spend the day exploring the Sahara. Visit a local nomad family, enjoy traditional Gnaoua music in the village of Khamlia, and discover desert oases. Relax and take in the serenity of the dunes.
Day 5: Merzouga - Ziz Valley - Azrou - Fes
Leave the desert behind as we travel north along the Ziz Valley, passing palm groves and striking canyons. We drive through the Middle Atlas cedar forests, stopping to see Barbary macaques, before arriving in Fes.
Day 6: Fes Guided Tour - The Spiritual Capital
Delve into history with a guided tour of Fes el Bali. Visit the Al Quaraouiyine University, ancient madrasas, and the bustling tanneries, soaking up the atmosphere of this UNESCO World Heritage city.
Day 7: Fes - Volubilis - Meknes - Rabat/Casablanca
Visit the well-preserved Roman ruins of Volubilis and the imperial city of Meknes. Onward to the Atlantic coast to visit Rabat or Casablanca, where the tour concludes with an airport drop-off.
